UX/UI Design is all about making creative, informed decisions to solve problems. That's what I like about this field! It's like a comedy writer objectively breaking down why a joke works. I have to listen to people, empathize, and turn their needs into actionable items towards a solution.
THEY’RE A PERSON, NOT A PERSONA
With over 8 years of experience in technical support, 6 of them in FinTech, I've seen users from all backgrounds and technical abilities struggle with an interface. As an escalations support agent, I've worked with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management alike, advocating for the user and communicating technical issues to both technical and non-technical people.
My passion for Psychology and mental health has also given me a great appreciation for empathy and curiosity - both key to becoming a great designer.
